Javesca Iced Coffee Recipe

The Perfect Iced Coffee Recipe

Total Brew Time: ~3:30 minutes

Yield: 300-350 grams of brewed coffee

Step 1:  Add 100 grams of ice to your favorite beverage cup, mug, or jar

Step 2:  Put your Hario® V60 or other pour over w/ natural filter on top and add 20 grams of Antigua coffee (or any of your favorite Javesca coffees) ground for drip.

Step 3:  Add 50 grams of hot water (105-205° F) and allow the coffee to bloom for approximately 30 seconds.

Step 4:  Add an additional 150 grams of hot water allowing the total brew time to reach 2-3 minutes.

Step 5:  Once dripping slows, remove pour over, and add an additional 50 grams of ice.

Step 6: Enjoy delicious iced coffee

Other ideas:

  • Add additional ice to allow for a cooler drink.
  • Increase or decrease ice to make stronger or weaker coffee taste.
  • Add whole milk to taste to create a nice smooth coffee blend.
